We promise you that as soon as you drive up the country road, slowly – or even a little faster – curving upwards between fir forests and apple meadows, when you catch your first glimpse of this beautiful plateau, where the sun warms you all day long, where your gaze can get lost in the vastness of the valleys, then you’ll know: Here, I want to stay! Well then ... where were we? Oh yes, it's nice here with us. You’ll see.

On the A22, take the Brixen exit and follow the Val Pusteria/Pustertal state road towards Bruneck. After about 2 kilometres, take the Natz-Schabs exit and follow the signs to Natz. In the village centre, turn left into Via Schlossergasse and follow the Das Mühlwald signs – right to the front door! Park the car in the garage and take a leisurely stroll to Sara and Bruna at reception. We'll take care of everything from there.

At Das Mühlwald, we want to support all guests who travel in an environmentally friendly way by train. Simply send us an e-mail or call us to let us know when we can pick you up at the train station in Franzensfeste or Brixen. This way, the journey becomes an exciting adventure and you have enough time to get in the mood for your holiday.

The nearest airport is situated in Bolzano (approx. 60km from here). Planes from various European cities land here. We’ll be happy to pick you up personally at Bolzano airport. For this service we charge €20.00 per person. The airports of Innsbruck (approx. 84km) and Verona (201km) also guarantee a comfortable and fast journey. For the transfer from these airports to Das Mühlwald we recommend the “Südtirolbus” shuttle service.
